Sensor Systems and Integrity Geospatial Solutions announce NGA validation of the iGeoPos Precision Positioning Module for RemoteView

Sterling, Virginia, 11 April, 2005 – Sensor Systems Inc. and Integrity Geospatial Solutions announced that the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) has validated the iGeoPos Precision Positioning module for use with Digital Point Positioning Data Base (DPPDB) stereo pairs or multiple National Technical Means (NTM) images.

The iGeoPos module is a powerful new capability that allows the extraction of extremely precise coordinates from satellite imagery using RemoteView.   Sensor Systems is now offering this new capability, called iGeoPos™, as a new module for RemoteView Professional.   Sensor Systems has teamed with Integrity Geospatial Solutions (IGS) to provide this new capability that offers the benefits of weapon-quality geo-coordinates and error estimates within the already familiar RemoteView environment.

The iGeoPos module represents a significant improvement in ease of use, timeliness and cost over existing methods of extracting precision position information from satellite images.   With the iGeoPos module the user can perform the entire position extraction process within RemoteView, including geospatial coordinate and accuracy specification, automatic image selection management, image point selection, product generation, and dissemination.   Sensor Systems has seamlessly integrated the iGeoPos™ module into RemoteView, providing the user with workflow tools within the familiar, user-friendly RemoteView interface.

Precision Targeting
RemoteView with iGeoPos supports precision coordinate mensuration, or precision targeting,   with Digital Point Positioning Data Base (DPPDB) stereo pairs, National Technical Means (NTM) single image with terrain data (e.g. DTED®), or multiple NTM images.

Automatic Source Selection
The iGeoPos module also provides a streamlined interface within RemoteView for automatically selecting images to use in targeting solutions.   iGeoPos supports both the RemoteView Catalog and local file systems.

Streamlined Product Generation
After a user has determined the precision coordinates, iGeoPos provides a simple, one-click operation for generating final products and presenting the coordinates in a community approved format.    iGeoPos incorporates the final targeted coordinate in a pre-defined RemoteView template that allows imagery, symbols, and component-specific information to be included.

The RemoteView iGeoPos module, available now for immediate shipment, is the integrated, cost effective alternative for the targeting community's requirements.
