Mark Stott and Jack Connors the principal shareholders of Paragon said at the time of the closing “We’re very pleased to align our future with Overwatch. We had been approached by other buyers but felt the Overwatch strategy of linking these intelligence resources together makes sense for our customers and our employees, and we’re delighted to have an opportunity to be part of this larger team.
In commenting on the transaction, Bill Craven, Chairman of Overwatch said “We’re delighted to welcome the Paragon Imaging organization to the Overwatch team both as team members and investment partners. We look forward to leveraging our combined skills and customer base to allow Overwatch to better serve the intelligence community. Paragon helps fulfill our mission to deliver analysis systems that speed actionable intelligence to the warfighter, and to enable information sharing among the agencies that make up the intelligence community.”

Overwatch To Demonstrate ‘Intelligence Fusion’ at DGI Europe Conference
STERLING, VA., USA, X January 2006 – Overwatch Systems will demonstrate the ‘Intelligence Fusion’ capabilities of its RemoteView imagery and visualization software at the DGI Europe 2006 Conference being held January 23-26 in London.
DGI Europe is an annual conference and exhibition for the military geospatial intelligence community that draws government, industry and military leaders from around the world. Overwatch will conduct its Intelligence Fusion demonstrations in Booth 13 at the QE II Conference Centre in Westminster, London.
Intelligence Fusion, also referred to as Multi-INT Fusion, requires the ability to search for and retrieve multiple types of data from multiple servers and/or databases for analysis in a central software environment. The Overwatch RemoteView visualization and geospatial analysis software is the first system to automate the Intelligence Fusion process.
“The European defense/intelligence community has become a major consumer and producer of geospatial data sets,” said Kirk D. Brown, President of Overwatch Geospatial Operations in Sterling, Va. “Overwatch is eager to show our European customers how RemoteView software can allow them to leverage scarce resources, and spend less time searching for geospatial data and more time analyzing it.”
RemoteView is the leading software for imagery visualization and geospatial analysis within the defense and intelligence communities with a growing customer base in commercial sectors. It handles massive image data sets of multiple gigabyte size for rapid visualization and processing. RemoteView provides intuitive user controls to seamlessly build virtual mosaics incorporating hundreds of images for broad-area analysis, and includes tools for vector management, multi- and hyper-spectral analysis, 3D scene visualization and photogrammetry.
In addition to the Intelligence Fusion capabilities showcased at DGI Europe, Overwatch will carry out live demonstrations of RemoteView’s ability to create 3D renderings from massive data files, build large virtual image mosaics, and extract coordinates with a high degree of precision from a high-resolution image.
RemoteView is part of a suite of integrated geospatial and fusion software tools developed by Overwatch Systems of Morristown, N.J. Overwatch combined the resources of five companies – Sensor Systems, Austin IT Systems, ITSpatial, Paragon Imaging and Federal IT – to create the suite of software tools, called the Overwatch Intelligence Center (OIC), specifically for the defense and intelligence communities. The OIC focuses on providing multi-INT fusion tools that enable analysts to generate relevant, actionable intelligence faster and more effectively for the warfighter, first responder and decision maker.

Overwatch Systems Delivers Critical Communications Assistance to Gulf Coast Areas Stricken by Hurricane Katrina
Deployed Support in the Immediate Aftermath helped Communications Networks and Emergency Operations Mitigate Storms Impact
AUSTIN, Texas (Oct. 17, 2005) – Today, officials from Overwatch Systems outlined the company’s recent critical communications and situational awareness assistance it provided to support emergency operations activities in Louisiana and Mississippi in the immediate aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

Specifically, Overwatch Systems’ Tactical Operations Division deployed an engineering team from the company’s Austin and Washington, D.C. offices to New Orleans to help support the combined federal, state and local Emergency Operations Center (EOC), located at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in downtown New Orleans. The Overwatch Systems engineers brought together components from the company’s newly launched Overwatch Intelligence Center (OIC) software product line (to include a multi-media database, 2-D mapping, analysis and reporting capabilities) to provide immediate, real-time capabilities to emergency officials and first responders. Considered a critical tool in the New Orleans based emergency operations, the integrated OIC provides vital data used in the EOC’s daily briefings. The system is also helping to provide real-time, network enabled situational awareness for the decision-makers based in the command center so that relief and recovery planning can be properly implemented throughout the region. In addition, the engineering team integrated InterScope (a product for 3-D geospatial analysis) and RemoteView for imagery analysis. These products, developed from Overwatch Systems’ Geospatial Operations Division, provide visualization capabilities to disaster relief planners by offering multimedia data, including 3-D and 2-D map views that are plotted with critical, visually recognizable data. All of these technologies have been integral to the immediate relief and ongoing rebuilding efforts in the region.

At the same time, in Mississippi, Overwatch Systems’ Tactical Operations Division provided support to Naval Station Pascagoula by accelerating the delivery of a multi-band satellite communications terminal to the base. This support enabled critical communications links and the base’s network to be re-started immediately following the storm, allowing base operations to continue virtually un-interrupted. In this effort, three Overwatch Systems Tactical Operations personnel from the company’s Richardson, Texas office traveled to Pascagoula with the system to ensure its set-up and proper operation. The terminal is a 2.4M flyaway system that operates in C- and Ku-bands and X- and Ka-Bands.
Jim Wade, President of Overwatch Systems Tactical Operations said, “Every one of us saw the destruction on the Gulf Coast after the hurricane and we were acutely aware of what tools first responders were going to need in the storms’ aftermath. Because of this, we were extremely proud to be able to provide support to disaster relief efforts in the region and, in a small way, help people get back on their feet.”

About Overwatch Systems Overwatch Systems provides integrated, multi-source, intelligence collection and analysis tools for the U.S. Department of Defense and Homeland Security, as well as specialized communications systems. Overwatch engineers are working to develop products that speed the flow of actionable intelligence to the warfighters, first responders and the policy-makers across a multitude of operational scenarios.
